Difference between Incoloy 825 Hex Bolts and 925 Hex Bolts-
Alloy 825 (Incoloy 825, UNS N08825, 2.4858) and Alloy 925 (Incoloy 925, UNS N09925) are nearly identical in composition, and therefore provide very similar corrosion resistance and physical properties. However, Alloy 925 provides significantly higher levels of strength as it benefits from precipitation strengthening. Small additions are made to its composition, which allows the formation of microscopic precipitates when the alloy is subjected to an extended heat-treatment process.
